A mega blood donation camp at the Adilabad district police headquarters witnessed an enthusiastic response on Friday, with 853 people, including police personnel and youth, voluntarily donating blood as part of the Police Commemoration Week.
Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan inaugurated the camp and donated blood in honour of police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
According to a press release, the donated blood was handed over to the blood bank of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Adilabad.
